Choco Dipped Cookies

Bake a batch of comforting homemade cookies with our first must-try recipe: Choco Dipped Milk Cookies - made from our very own Elcano Trading Corp. milk powder products.

Ingredients:

  • 1 1/4 cups plain flour
  • 1 tsp baking powder
  • 5 tbsp milk powder
  • 3/4 cup softened butter
  • 2 tbsp castor sugar
  • 1/4 cup condensed milk
  • 1 cup chopped dark chocolate
 
Step 1:
Sieve the flour and the baking powder in a deep bowl. Add 5 tbsp. Of AMPEC Instant Full Cream Powder, mix well and set aside

Step 2:
Combine the butter and castor sugar in a deep bowl and whisk well using a whisk till light and fluffy.

Step 3: Add condensed milk (mix well)
Step 4: Fold in the flour mixture and mix gently to form a soft dough
Step 5: Cover the dough with a lid and refrigerate for 20 minutes
Step 6: Divide the dough into 20 equal portions and shape into flat round cookies
Step 7: Place the cookies on a greased baking tray and bake in a pre heated oven at 160°C for 25 to 30 minutes
Step 8: Remove from baking tray and cool on a wire rack.

Step 9: Meanwhile put the dark chocolate in a microwave safe bowl and microwave on high for 30 seconds.

Step 10: Dip half of each cookie into the melted chocolate and allow to set on a greased plate and refrigerate for 20 minutes
